I wonder why the "Leaving Neverland" documentary isn't getting the same buzz as the "Surviving R.Kelly" documentary?
MJ's estate is fighting back, the accusers have no credibility, and MJ is dead and his legacy as a talented but weird person has been set and even white people are willing to hold on to that. Anyone pushing an alternative narrative strongly faces significant backlash. R. Kelly was always a soft target because it's been known and accepted he is a predator yet there had been little to no outrage in the previous two decades making it a fresh source of untapped handwringing in this era.
