I don't dislike my job and I make good money, but I had to quit because I was becoming a great employee and that's the opposite of a boss

:wow:

I was thinking of doing the same shyt as you breh. I'm in a temp agency for finance / accounting so jobs are plentiful short term and I deliver on the side. Once I pay off this lil debt that I acquired by being stupid (aiming for late, mid July if I'm on my shyt) then I'm planning my next move

That's the best move. I'm doing the same thing. I'm paying off my little debt with my work check and paying everything else with whatever I make on my own. It's a win win because if we fail we can get a job. I'm 28 and I haven't been working on a mixtape for 8 years, lol. I worked 8 years developing a skill set and professional resume. If I can't support myself at this age I might as well tap out, feel me? Adults should have options. We shouldn't feel trapped in any situation, and I felt trapped so I made a move. I was able to make a move because I have a safety net.

you can genuinely tell some of the folk who post on the coli are genuinely off outside of the keyboard, it's kind of sad tbh.
