Ten years ago a lot of girls chose, and it wasn't me. I find it hilarious when they see me now. It's usually at work. They book an expensive fancy dinner and I'm cooking it. Nobody believed in me except for me. nikkas cut turf real fast when I changed careers and dropped out. Every girl who didn't picked me looks like regret it. Success really is the best revenge. I'm in shape, I'm doing something with my life, and I don't have to say shyt about my career because yelp, and a few newspaper talk for me. I cook for people from all over the world, I cook for chefs, and other food professionals. I'm not a great cook, but I am decent, and I will keep improving. If a nikka isn't playing sports or following the rules people assume we're going to fail. It's low key racist.
People used to joke and say I'm working on a mixtape. HAHA, nikkas, who's laughing now? LOL I started out selling weed and rolling up blunts for the local dealer. Look at me now. I'm proud of myself. I'm proud of all my nikkas too. We all grew up into professionals. We were always about some money, back then we only knew how to hustle illegally. As we aged we learned to hustle legally. My homie works for the FDA, my other homie is in law school, and the other homie is a high end bar tender.
We got out the hood. Most people I grew up with are still in the hood having babies and living in apartments. I want more than that and I'm willing to die to get it.
My dream is to have a government-funded program that teaches kids in the hood how to cook professionally. Swear to God a 16yo could start a food business and make grip. Hot dog carts make the most money. They make more money than restaurants. The money is in street food.
I'm going to have my name on everything. Ice cream trucks, churros and corn carts, hot dog carts, salad karts, and eventually a fleet of food trucks to support my catering business. I see money all around me I'm going to get me a big ass bag.
