I told her I was a scum bag and I had been lying to her for weeks. I said it to her face. I also told her I'm petty and selfish. I don't pretend to be a good person. I'm okay with being a scum bag. She did sound desperate last night. She was begging for my friendship and explanations.
In my defense I'm also a die hard romantic. I don't like being vulnerable because I'm sensitive. To prevent being taken advantage of I am honest about how I feel. And I don't let people get close to me without me getting close to them. What I mean is both parties have to be vulnerable.
