Yeah I like listening to music in other languages but spefically creole and french because I want to better my listening skills in those languages. I can form sentences easily in creole but have a hard time understanding people sometimes especially when they use contractions. Like in creole if you wanted to say she likes to play. It would be Li renmen jwe. But some people would use contractions and it would be L'remen jwe. And the sounds between the L and R are kinda roll togather into one. They call it a liaison.

yeah you have that in other languages and dialects.
same here, i listen to music in my mom's langauge because its very hard to learn the language without constant exposure
you're lucky since all the French islands speak similar creoles and French has 100million + speakers
