I structure my sentences like that too, I'm left handed. I approach tasks opposite from right handed people. I think being left handed affects how my brain works too.
I truly believe this. I honestly feel like being left handed in the right handed world gives us access to a viewpoint or perspective like none other.. you'd have to be left handed to understand ( and not fake left handed like some to write with their right hand but do some stuff with the left)

Does Anybody writes weird but correct grammatical sentences?

Example
We designed a water diversion that also acts as a fish barrier to protect and prevent fish from entering an irrigation storage pond

Instead of
To protect and prevent fish from entering an irrigation storage pond, we designed a water diversion that also acts as a fish barrier. :patrice:

I tell myself it's because I'm left handed but I steadily find myself walking back the words I type.

Just did it unknowingly :dwillhuh:

Could of wrote I found myself steadily walking back the words I type.

I write like this a lot and I’m right handed. I’ve actually tried to stop after taking a technical writing class. It’s verbose for no reason, and can be said more efficiently with less words. Unless you’re trying to increase word count it’s just excessive. I never really noticed until taking that class. At times, I will go back and revise the sentences to try and get out of the habit. Many more words will need to be used to connect the thoughts coherently in some cases if you catch my drift. In a style sense, I don’t really feel it’s a big deal though. Academic writing has forced me to try and change it though.

I didn't think it was exclusive to left handers just maybe more apparent. Part of me feels like it could be a dialect barrier. Cause in my case, in the Caribbean, we shorten a lot of words/sentences and some words that don't directly translate to standard English, so that may lead one to describe things differently :yeshrug:
