When I was twenty, I really had no clue where I would be nearly two decades later...all I understood then is that life was living for the now, that my time in youth would never ebb and that I would always have time to correct any errors I would commit from ignorance. I was terribly wrong.
I barely survived my youth and now I'm an old man but I'm happy about it, I can joyously excuse myself from the race with the profane. My scars and wounds are reminders of my battles and although the fresh smile of my youth has faded and has been replaced by a dark, twisted and hardened grin..I have found power and wisdom in the change but my responsibility in the end is not hoard but to disburse.
Time is ever flowing, my lords..we all procede from the womb in preparation to die at a particular point, the time allowed to us between birth and death is in reality not much. The sun sets on this age, darkness descends and wisdom now is truly a treasure worthy of young men. Who among you is willing to embrace her now before time cripples you and death brings you down into the grave? Who among you will ultimately challenge and take the signet from men like myself when the time comes?
I'll be glad to go to my grave in seeing the mass restoration of strength to my young brothers, men of grand power once again traversing like ferocious lions when the time comes.
