-Found out my mom’s old friend and hair dresser died last month 
She had been doing my mom’s hair before I was born and fell ill. We’re both kind of vexed that her kids didn’t go through her phone or contacts to give people the heads up. My mom sounded sad and that made me sad.
-Played scategories with my friend, her kids and their friends. We had a lot of fun. It was a welcome distraction. I’m going to buy that game. Big families seem like so much fun but having more than one kid seems scary.
