i'm so tempted to getting back into eating fish on a regular basis but after that food poisoning incident i'm still scared to eat it

A few years back I wanted to write an Afrocentric Hobbit style story and I found some notes:

The Eloko race are a dwarvish-like group native to the forest, master hunters and have the ability to speak to all animals.
The Bisimbi are a mix of siren and fairy, most of the race is female with a Hyena-like social structure, all Bisimbi can spread disease, a few can cure
The Emere are the Elves of this setting - vain, good at lying, ethical hedonists and masters of using pure energy as tools and weapons
The Aziza are Hobbits: Small, tobacco loving and very generous, scared of non-Aziza to an extent but have a close relationship with Eloko due to their innate ability to shapeshift in aardvarks
