How is the action/gameplay?
RPG elements?
How long did it take?
Action/Gameplay is very basic but keeps you interested long enough to get through the short story . . there will be times you'll be doing more walking/puzzle solving than actual combat . .combat you have a heavy attack button, light attack button, shield break button and a block/counter which is well done makes you feel bad ass when you pull it off but it's very easy to pull off on most enemies, , ,the combat will get repetitive quick though it's that basic the only saving factor is the game is short otherwise you'd get bored about around the time it ends . I did like the curse aspect of the game, if the curse reaches from senua's arm to her brain you supposely have to start from the beginning . .so this made a bruh fight his ass off.
. .
No rpg elements . .although you do get like two upgrades one is a bullet time affect when doing battle it slows enemies down and helps counter their defenses(certain enemies can only be attacked by using this power to open them up) the other is later on you get a legendary sword(lightsaber) .. there is no skill points, no inventory, no other weapons besides original sword(later upgraded to god slaying sword)
5-6 hours for me
This is more of an experience than a game, it's like the combat is there but as an afterthought and the puzzles aren't super complicated it's basically you moving around the area matching images with what you see on the door you need to access, a lot of people recommend headphones because a big portion of the game plays into the voices urging senua to either continue or not go forward. . .
just to say it again the combat isn't bad just simple, but it works well and it's not a cakewalk as I did die a few times.
