The metal anchors can fukk ppls teeth up. Or chip them. Never happened to me luckily. I've stuck to the metal/plastic barbells. It took some getting used to. Of course any type of piercing requires hygiene and maintenance. I felt like I was doing too much. I could and can eat anything.
