Trinidad
You're not AA, but you're an Afro-Trinidadian so :manny:

I actually have a question for you since you're from Trinidad. What is the relationship usually like between Blacks and Indians?

I had a co-worker at my job in my old location who everybody who shocked at. They would be like "how are you so pro-Black when you're Indian?" and he always is like "I just believe that this country is so racist against Blacks. I'm Indian, but I'm from Trinidad. We're not like India or here in the US, we don't treat Blacks like shyt. It's not like that over there."

I personally have a hard time believing that, but I can't comment because I'm not from there. Care to comment?
some of my closest friends are Indian and most of the newer generation aren't racist at all because of actually living among each other instead of hearing about blacks from some prejudiced old fart. But don't be fooled a lot of the older ones are straight up racist. But in order to oppress people you have to be the dominant society, which they aren't. It isn't any where close to how it is in the US and other countries tho.

There's a lot more I wanted to say but I'm not in the mood to write out walls of text right now

Always
Am I the only person who listens to the 9.5 minute version of Run Away by Kanye West? I saw it live and fell in love with the song. I spend 20 minutes listening to one song! I always play it again after the first listen. It's a perfect song!

Kanye really is an artistic genius. He's crazy as fukk, but the God gave me my anthem for life. 1/2 of the best rap duo ever drops a verse too. I feel all the mood changes and subtle shyt going on. He changes the mood while keeping the rhythm steady.

That first bridge gets me singing along everytime, shyt, I even scat when he does. Pusha doesn't waste half a bar either. That's REAL rap. No word or space gets wasted.

"I don't know how I'm uh manage if one day you just up and leave."
:mjcry:

By the time the second bridge drops I'm all in my feelings. I want to see him perform this song live before I die. Yeezy is the Brian Wilson of rap.
