Outkast is the best musical act of all-time in my humble opinion. And if you disagree, I will confidently say Outkast has executed hip-hop better than anyone else.

The musical evolution from a song like Ain't No Thang to Funkin Around is extremely significant. When you factor in the creative direction of each album in between, it gets even more incredible. Outkast when from very rough Dirty South to space/atmospheric rap to live instrumentation and then began fusing elements of all of it.

When I listen to a song like SpottieOttieDopaliscious, it stands up to all-time great P-Funk & jam instrumentation funk. It's a scintillating sensory experience, and when I really think no other hip-hop act has really accomplished anything remotely close. Even the spoken word verses by Big Boi & Andre were innovative for the era.

Outkast represents for me innovation but the ultimate respect to the foundation of things. Andre & Big Boi perfectly toed that line for a decade. To me, that's what legends are made of.

The production on Stankonia is so damn crisp!

I respect your input a lot on this, not just because of your affinity for Outkast/KRIT, but your general taste in music. You have a very solid grasp of what good musicianship means, and I think Outkast has executed it better than anyone else in hip-hop. The small details in the music are so incredible, and that is what makes an album like Stankonia stand-out.
