It seems unrealistic for a group of people as large and heterogeneous as black people to have a coherent economic plan. What group of people would you say do have an economic plan, and what's their plan?
Well first I'm making the diagnosis, and I never said I have the solution
But I agree that that black people are to widespread and diverse to make a general economic plan, so it's best to come up with something city to city
Focusing on music, sports and entertainer are pseudo economic plans but because they require rare talent it's hard to bring up a whole community around that
But basically we have to target industries, the previously mentioned Koreans and their control of grocery stores and hair products is an example, Jews who focused on banking and law
But even before you get to an economic plan I think you have to focus on capacity, point blank black people are to uneducated to come up economically, i think thats the difference between a black city like atlanta and a black city like detroit, atlanta just has more educated black people, its not because michigan is more racist than georgia
as far as an economic plan the first place to start is with financial literacy (which is why education is important)

and then communities themselves have to develop their own economic plans at the local/city level, i would suggest plans that focus on small business and entrepreneurialism, and this is where democrats and civil rights/anti racism rhetoric cant help black people, because to grow small and medium sized business in a community you need to focus on lower taxes, lower regulation and economic freedom, when it comes to developing economics for a community its better to listen to milton friedman and his ilk than to liberal democrats
