I don't think either dictates either one, they interact with each other, but especially in the us those things can exist seperatly, you can be politically powerful and economically weak or vice versa

but what ultimately dictates economics and politics is culture
and politics is in culture. eg. if racism is embedded into culture those ppl will not want to do business with the ppl they discriminate against. be it in a national level or local level.

hey nucca why couldn't you go into that restaurant?

politics breh.

if that is what is going on then the places that are controlled by black people politically would be economically succesful for black people

money is money. doesnt make sense for a black person to discriminate against other ppl. "other ppl" can afford it because they way outnumber blacks.

the bottomline is that "politics" is has everything to do with culture and business/economy.

Politics is connected with economics, no question, but it doesn't mean one leads to another

IMO black people's biggest mistake is thunking that politics (civil rights, voting democratic) IS the economic plan, but a political plan is not an economic plan

even if you look at the way japanese do business... they don't fuq with the xbox not because it's wack. they don't fuq with the xbox because it's american. they support sony because it's their own sh1t period. xbox has always been "better" than the playstation.
microsoft spent millions of dollars to try break into the japanese market but they weren't buying it. they would rather spend money to program games onto the playstation platform than put their games on the xbox for free. this was way back in the ps2 days. i don't keep up with games now. it's only microsoft which had the pockets for such a campaign.

white ppl too think politics is the economic plan. and it works for them. now what?

what you are saying makes no sense, the link you gave is not example of politics, and neither is microsft trying to break into the Japanese market, i think maybe you are just a confused individual

koreans come into this country with an economic plan, they have basically zero political power, there are no korean mayors, congress people or governors and they are able to control hair products, grocery stores and other things

this proves my point, you do not need political power to be economically successful, to be economically successful you need a (gasp) an economic plan, you need to identify industries to target and create financial systems to accomplish those economic plans, that has nothing to do with politics

you are just continuing the mistakes of the past of having politics be the economic plan

so in a nutshell Exploitation and economic gaps increasing > economic stability and distribution of wealth that helps the overall economy and debt

Raising the minimum wage isn't the answer. How do you(or anyone) figure that making America less attractive for businesses is going to right the economy?

Jobs leave the U.S. cause the taxes are high, and the labor is expensive... you answer is raise the expense of labor and raise taxes? :what:

:mindblown: Its insane!

The only reason not to raise a min wage is greed. lol @ you denying the math for ideological reasons. What is the reason that the CEO should take 77 million instead of 250 million---- because happy employees, studies show, will increase productivity... NTM increase pay increases consumerism -that boost the overall economy and not the just pockets of the 1% that increases the wealth gap every single day. Also, it's not just the min wage that needs to be increases. Entire resources should be allocated differently so that America can be a dream and not a nightmare of corporate slavery and economic manipulation. If some one has to go from 1 billion to 700 million for the sake of - the US dollar not losing value by half during the same time as the wealthy getting richer 4x... or corporations being kept alive by the work sweat and slavery of the American tax payer.... when it was the greed of the corporations and the lobbing of politicians that lead the collapse in the first place?????

lol at the labor being expensive... in what world should pay rate not be in line with cost of living??? oh yeah, in the world in which disgusting and unbearable wealth gaps are acceptable.

:ohhh: Ah there it is, a little central planning. :snoop:

The reason he should make that much is he can... to be as frank as possible. :yeshrug:

Private companies shouldn't have to be told what to pay or not to pay anymore than individuals should be told what to do.

income isn't allocated/distributed, it is earned, and you cant engineer it. Attempts to do so have a track record only really really smart people can ignore.

The problem lies in the high cost of living, not the "low wages".

and labor is usually the highest expense a business has....

edit: how can you say koreans have no political power when they've managed to push black business owners out of the business? isn't that clear that politics and business/economics are the same thing? you/we as black ppl HAVE TO treat it as ONE and the same thing.
