That's were we disagree. For Mox's current run to happen, he had to convince TK he could "elevate" Darby more than anyone else by doing this horrible Death Riders angle. If Darby becomes champ before Mox, that means Tony wasn't convinced and who knows what Moxley is doing right now. It's whole new "what if" scenario.

There’s no way Mox would be lingering in upper midcard this long. He was already doing that when he held the Intl and NJ titles. He could have defeated Darby for the title back at World’s End. Plus if Darby won he would have been the fourth face in a row to hold the belt. Wouldn’t be surprised if they did Os/Mox at All In if they had Darby beat Danielson. They need a face to win the main event at their biggest show of the year.

Danielson was partly to blame because he viewed Mox as a viable guy to "put him on the shelf" basically.. If Danielson says "nah, let's just do Darby now" then I'm sure TK would have listened.

No question about it, he's probably the main guy to blame tbh, just off the strength of Tony never having the balls to say no to his favorites, it's on them to stop nonsense from happening

I don't see them get live reactions compared to others so I would be careful using that as the barometer for whether it's working.. The world title scene is what is supposed to drive tickets and I haven't seen much of an increase there. The 'Dynamite' numbers are fine considering they don't even include 'Max'

Obviously not a statically valid sample, but in the Fightful Dynamite post show, SRS said they did a poll with over 15,000 responses and 60% of the respondents said they are watching AEW online and not TBS/TNT.
