Overall Rating was 655k this week.
I've been surprised at the gradual ratings increases since the Max deal started. I thought it would be a lock to decrease because of people watching it on Max instead. I actually canceled my YouTube TV back in December when the price increase was announced, so Max is my only legal way of watching now.

Catching up via Max today. Collision was decent. That's the first Collision I've watched since the first few Punk shows. Watching Dynamite now.

Pre 2022 Seth spent the majority of the time as a very divisive top guy (or at the very least, a flop as one). He even got booed and got matches hijacked. Same thing with Roman. Plus with Reigns you got him becoming a part time world champ for literal years so he wouldn't become stale.

It is true that Mox would be welcomed more if he could figure out a way to get interesting feuds going thanks to creative. But he doesn't need the top belt to get those. And he's constantly pushing for the top belt anyways so it ain't as easy with him.

Tanahashi was the main focus of New Japan for 8 years, Okada for 10-12. But both of those guys were waaay bigger draws for New Japan than Mox for AEW. Mox hasn't lifted his promotion from the brink of irrelevancy nor has he elevated it to heights not seen in years...Omega is the one that's done that and the wrestler one could make a case for "always being in the main event". Funnily enough, Kenny has been way more passive and absent from top programs in the past 4 years than Mox, lol.
Every main eventer has down time if you’re around enough. The thing is this is wrestling. Once someone is over again all is forgotten lol. Everyone bashing Mox now would easily move on from that if the storyline and his character was on point.

It’s funny how there was a narrative that Mox was that dude the first few years of AEW, where some would argue he’s better than Seth, and especially Roman during his down time. But now people act like Mox isn’t shyt.

One thing I dislike about wrestling fans. Fickle like Bryan Danielson said.

Yeah this current shyt Mox is doing sucks but it doesn’t discredit his whole career.

This is why story and character is so important in wrestling.

Even the AEW subreddit is not a fan of the Death Riders

No one does online, including me, but Death Riders stuff is the most or 2nd most viewed YouTube video virtually every show.

Like look at the below, it’s indisputable that it has people’s interest (relative to other AEW stuff) on YouTube at least.
  • Last night - opener #1, main event + post match #2
  • Last Collision - #1
  • Two Dynamites ago - #1
  • Two Collisions ago - not top two
  • Three Dynamites ago - #1 and with a million views which is pretty rare for AEW these days
  • Three Collisions ago - Main event (not involving Death Riders) + post match with DR #1
  • Fight for the Fallen Dynamite - #1
  • Rampage finale - #1
  • Dynamite on 34th St - #1
  • Christmas Collision - #2
  • Dynamite Holiday Bash - #1
  • Collision Winter is Coming - not top 2
  • Dynamite Winter is Coming - #1

Not every top wrestler warrants the patience and benefit of the doubt you are describing on the first paragraph, imo. In fact, I'd argue the vast majority of wrestlers should have limited runs on top and make the most out of the time that run lasts. We are about to enter year 6 of Mox in AEW and he's not the kind of talent that warrants the sort of treatment you give to a Cena, Roman, Okada or Tanahashi (to use a few names you've already mentioned). Neither does Seth btw, in my book at least. Mox is not a guy you just keep pushing out of name value and hope he'll catch fire again with the right angle or opponent and I think the last 3 years of his time in AEW have showed that because they've tried with him, A LOT, and it's diminishing returns every time.

PS: No doubt fans are fickle in every entertainment and sport avenue, wrestling ain't any different. But you are grasping at straws with that "Mox the best out of the Shield" narrative. There's been narratives in favor and against all three members since the inception of the group depending on the section of the internet you are reading/hearing. More than fickle, I think that's a case of people having different taste when it comes to wrestling and how stubborn they (we) are with them.
