Crazy how just 5 years ago since the Swole comments, things took a 180 turn and now AEW has the shine when it comes to black wrestlers while WWE who was praised at that time frame is looking no n-gga'sSeeing that Klansley thread is funny and how AEW has done more for black wrestlers in its short time:
.Jade Cargill was the first ever TBS champ and was dominant.
.Mone shining with the belt collector run and putting on quality matches.
.Athena the most dominant ROH Women’s champ.
.PP, Acclaimed, Swerve in Our Glory, and Starks getting runs with the tag belts. And Acclaimed having a trios title run.
.Swerve’s rise was organic and became a star.
.Willow becoming a fan favorite and having accomplishments in and out of an AEW ring.
.Hurt Syndicate becoming fan favorites even though they’re supposed to be heels. Their future is far from over.
.Scorpio Sky got shine as a tag and singles champ.
I can even list Latino/Hispanic and Asians who have gotten airtime and/or shine being part of the company, but I won’t because it’ll be a longer list.
Let’s see how long it takes for someone to try to shyt on the list with “the booking sucked” bullshyt.
They did the regular presale today and I was able to get decent seats at $150 for two tickets. I'll be center ring facing the entrance ramp. Now I know not to fukk with the VIP Presales if they have them.
Black is boring and looks generic. I never understood his appeal. I'm glad he's leaving. Let him go to WWE maybe he'll get over there. He hasn't done anything memorable in AEW.

Black was good when he first came in as lone wolf assassin type. Putting him in a group with his boys kinda kept him in limbo. He is overrated a bit tho but Trips probably can't wait to get him back in there.
Unfortunately, he's not nearly as good as he was 7-8 years ago in the ring. He looked pretty bad in his last AEW match against Adam Cole.

I wouldn't say that. Cody was in some decent to good storylines with Black, Starks, Lee, and I believe Andrade. My belief is that minus Lee, Cody leaving killed alot of those guys momentum, which makes me think that Cody was gonna handle those guys storylines had he not left.Black was over when he came in. the shock factor of him and Brodie each destroying Cody in their debut was wild but the Cody comeback/revenge part of the stories missed the mark

WBD has to be happy at least for today. 'Dynamite' did 679K on TBS alone without 'Max' factored in. Despite what some lonely internet nerds will try to tell you, Max is in 100,000,000 million homes.
