It wouldn't. Love Hobbs, and he should be booked much better than he is, but him going over Moxley when he just lost a title match at the last PPV makes no sense. Hangman, Swerve, Jay White, or Lashley can make sense as I type this.
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that when Moxley drops the belt, whoever beats him is going to immediately lose to Christian Cage the same night.

I view Take as a top 5 guy, wins over Omega etc.. my idea of Hobbs winning was more of a shocking result much like when Mankind won over The Rock because there was so much fukkery going around ringside. It would immediately solidify Hobbs in that upper tier and honestly, it's wild that the main event scene isn't already Omega, Hangman, Ospreay, Swerve, Take, etc..

You know what, that could be what saves this whole thing but with a bit of a twist. On dynamite have DR cost Hobbs the match then have him get angry and take everyone out leaving Mox laying in middle of the ring. As Hobbs walking to the back, Christian music hits. They can still have the six man tag on collision with the belt out of the picture and then figure out everything else with Christian on the next Dynamite.
I actually thought about that earlier too. Could happen. Probably won't, but it'd be a nice change of pace.
