Actually, Ricky wasn't there as a wrestling talent he was a “featured contracted guest star.” How stupid does it sound making that distinction? Ricky was pulled because Tony wanted to punish GCW. Trying to rationalize why one was ok and the other wasn't is stupid as fukk.

No one is obsessed with you, no one wants your attention. Its a message board people are going to reply to you.

We’re talking about upcoming appearance, not the one he already did. :childplease:

Son, you literally quoted me and when I didn’t reply you made another post about it. How’s that not trying to get my attention? You can’t just ignore my comment? It’s not hard to scroll past replies. I do that with you and a few others most of the time.

What's the difference between bloodsport and this gcw event that Ricky was gonna be on?

Looking at the schedules, seems like GCW has hammerstein planned for late January like a month after aew so not sure what the argument is about there. Was that the show Ricky was gonna be on? I know I saw something about him having a match with Matt Cardona. Guessing that was the one that was canceled?

the difference is Moxley loves that Bloodsport shyt and is tight with Josh Barnett so Tony is never gonna tell talent they can't appear on it or else Mox would tell Tony to go fukk himself

if I recall Moxley's latest AEW contract allegedly forbid him from doing most indies (including GCW) so there isn't anybody Tony respects involved with GCW now to tell him to fall back

Different bookers.

Bloodsport is Josh Barnett's baby while GCW just the promotion for the special. Probably the Final Battle event next month that conflicts with their show. It is what it is.

Quite frankly, since this world going under one fukking dollar, Tony should just buy GCW and the rest :manny: .

fukk it, everything is becoming a monopoly so big bank take little bank :francis:

Oh ok. Yeah i know Barnett was involved in bloodsport, that was his thing. Guess having them separate was what allowed the talent to be on that vs Ricky Starks and his appearance but who knows. Def agree about everything becoming a monopoly.

:deadrose:Mox pretty much on his HBK steez anyway, so I couldn't imagine Tony going up to him like "ummm yeah, that Bloodsport thi.."

Mox: "mmmhmm what bout it" :mjpls:

Tony: :whoa: "make sure you send Josh my regards and I loved his work in PRIDE FC"

AEW is having a joint show and a working relationship with NJ. Starks was a booked on Indy shows for a company that was shytting on the company they have no working agreement with. These 2 things are not the same. :snoop:
That show was two months away from when he came back. AEW has three weekly TV shows per week.

Yeah Bloodsport usually like a spinoff to the norm of GCW. I try to check it out when I have a chance because I dig the whole "Kumile" vibes. Last one I saw was with Speedball and Kota which dude was beyond washed at that point :scust:

They’re employed under a billionaire family. I’m sure wrestlers aren’t struggling financially. :heh:

yeah, it’s always cool to see a well known talent show up at an Indy show, but there’s always a risk of injury. That’s not good for either the wrestler or company.

They might not be struggling financially, that's true. We don't know all their salaries and whatnot to comment tho.

Far as risk of injury, you do have a point but nobody lives in a bubble so the risk isn't zero. Look at all the crazy shyt Darby does. Prolly more risk than any indie wrestling. Even something that doesn't seem risky can have unfortunate consequences. People take a risk with something like just getting in their cars to drive. RIP Jay Briscoe.

Risk of injury, or worse, goes beyond the wrestling ring as well.

He’s recovering from a near career ending health scare. He’s probably not even cleared to wrestle. Why are they gonna feature him weekly if he’s not cleared? Even if he’s cleared, he’s likely just getting back into ring shape. You want him on tv so you can bytch about his promos? :skip:

What are you talking about? Darby isn’t out wrestling in a gym for CZW. :heh:

Yes, injuries can happen whenever, but they’re pro wrestlers putting their bodies on the line every match. Each match has potential to bring injury.
