Looking at the schedules, seems like GCW has hammerstein planned for late January like a month after aew so not sure what the argument is about there. Was that the show Ricky was gonna be on? I know I saw something about him having a match with Matt Cardona. Guessing that was the one that was canceled?

Actually, Ricky wasn't there as a wrestling talent he was a “featured contracted guest star.” How stupid does it sound making that distinction? Ricky was pulled because Tony wanted to punish GCW. Bloodsport is Josh Barnett's baby while GCW just the promotion for the special. Probably the Final Battle event next month that conflicts with their show. It is what it is.

yeah, it’s always cool to see a well known talent show up at an Indy show, but there’s always a risk of injury. That’s not good for either the wrestler or company.
