TNAs not actually alive though and basically died long ago. If the AEW name is bought by Rumble in 5 yrs and Dynamite becomes a weekly online show in a studio with 500 fans and 60k viewers, it's not alive.

So apparently Jericho won the belt because TK’s trying to land ROH a tv deal. I guess Jericho’s name is supposed to help out. 
And since I got time and a headache, why nobody checking Tony for keeping talent from going beyond their means ala Starks, but give him passes with new signees to a already bloated roster?
Wrestling in general is supposed to be a way for folks to live out their dreams of being a superstar, but the moment a wrestler wants to expand his horizons because the ceiling seems so low (Pillman Jr, Page, and one day Starks), its "HURR HURR HURR NXT PERFORMANCE CENTER GYM LMAO", like grow the fukk up.
Wrestlers go into this game to either thrive or swim, and in Starks case he's stuck on a island with a petty ass booker that people dikk lick, because "dream matches", rather than checking him on his weird policies and theatrics that resembles Vince of the past.
I say this as a lapsed wrestling fan and somebody that's a dreamer that it's time to do better. I know it's not Sunday but good grief, I'm not the one today.

2. Events in those type of places including Wrestlemania weekend means more exposure

Idk what GCW is bro. But if the AEW name is purchased by somebody and ran as basically an internet indy like happened with TNA, then I will not consider it still alive. If Tony Khan is still running it and it's doing shows in arenas and holding PPVs, it's still alive.
Like I said, it wouldn't make sense for him to get thrown in WWE right now (unless they do a Jacob Fatu which is not much the case since he's Somoan bloodline bound).
The fact remains I would want to see dude thrive, and trust if this is all a work and he stays in AEW (doubtful), I would still root for the dude because I have been a fan of his since the NWA POWErrRRR days.
I guess I hate when dudes that have "it" are not seen as. While him going to WWE would be a perfect dream for him, it would be unrealistic.

- Where does he stand
- Do we know him without commentators screaming
- Its been a minute since he was on Dub TV so they can't exactly expect folks to know who he is
Bottom line, NXT gets dunk on but its a proper stepping stool for wrestlers to find their niche in the WWE. Now, Triple Hilter...that's all on him, but Hicklebottom will look after the Nawlins lad.
