Moving 5k+ tickets in a month would be weird for them. Normally the initial number stays in the same range up until the last 7-10 days, and sometimes it goes up a good number (1-3k) in the final 5 days or so. Not sure they have a Swerve vs Hangman in a cage sort of match in their back pocket to make that big of a difference.

If I had to guess, by November 10 the tickets sold are gonna be in the 5.8-6.2k range and then it's just a thing of good promoting or interesting people being in it.

Maybe Bobby Lashley shows up and sparks some interest though :ehh:

It feels like 'Full Gear' will be their big Fall event... you look at 'Wrestledream' and it's so close to a bunch of other events, there's no real hype or build to it. My guess is they put more of an effort into making 'Full Gear' a big deal but we'll see...

WrestleDream doesn't seem like a big deal right now, there's no build and only one match announced but the final card might look like this : Danielson vs. Mox, Hangman vs. Switchblade, Mariah vs. Willow, Okada vs. Takeshyta, Swerve vs. Shelton or Lashley, Ospreay vs. Ricochet rematch maybe and god knows what else, but one thing is for sure, it's gonna be another amazing PPV.

No one should complain about how poorly the show has been booked. Fans should have seen it coming. All In, All Out, Grand Slam, 5th Anniversary, and WD all within 2 months. :dead:

Yeah they need to chill. i was one of the people saying 'ALL IN' and 'ALL OUT' are too close together but they've actually been able to navigate that pretty well..

But all the other shyt afterwards is just overkill lol

I think someone doing that much blow would be more entertaining (in a car crash kind of way). They'd be even MORE ridiculous. This screams adderall to me. :manny:

It was the same problem last year as far as the build goes. Same with All Out last year too.

Thing is Tony at least recognizes it because the poorly built ones always end up being outstanding PPVs because he puts on banger after banger match. Like last year probably the two most poorly built show were All Out and WrestleDream and they were arguably the two best AEW PPVs of 2023.
