I hope they go 20+ so Okada keeps his belt & then Danielson just beats him clean, bonus points if he beats him clean at like 20:10
I know people want to see big epic matches between the two but I'd be ok with a simple story of Okada stalling and stooging it up like crazy to keep his belt and get heat. And then getting caught and killed at the 21 minute mark :pachaha:

I guess it depends on what treatment he gets on his neck. Maybe he takes time off after WrestleDream and comebacks for the Tokyo Dome double header and then gets surgery. But I guess it's all gonna depend on how much pain dude is.

But I honestly don't see how he keeps the strap in Tacoma. The whole story leads to him getting killed :heh: they've propped up Mox again as the top main event act in the company, he's a heel TK wants to establish (probably for Darby to defeat next year) and in kayfabe Danielson has been wrestling hurt for 3 months now. Him surviving Mox doesn't really makes much sense and it fukking sucks :francis: :pacspit:
:usure: That MF been wrestling "hurt" for 2 years now lol

And it doesn't make sense for him to lose to Mox AGAIN when he put that bytch over twice already and the second time he definitely should have been the one to go over. Fucck That

I don’t get the appeal of this whole Costco guys thing but they have 1.9 million TikTok followers so :yeshrug:

It’s likely an audience that largely has little to no exposure to AEW, so could be a good way to create brand awareness outside of the IWC, which is something they need to do if they want to grow the size of their audience.
This the excuse Russo used to put the title on Arquette :skip:

It was pretty evident he fukked his neck up with the hurracarrana spot in the Ospreay match, if you don't want to believe his neck is hurt then more power to you. I just hope once he's out for a long time you don't start asking for him like's he's waiting on the sidelines ready to return at any time :russ:

Doesn't make sense to me, you and a bunch of people that follow AEW because we don't want to see Mox get the same push again but why the fukk would TK give dude a new gimmick, the most TV time in the company for the past month AND scrapped the original plans for Darby only for him to take an L on his first PPV match with this new character?

I don't intend to follow his title reign but it's pretty evident that's where they are going whether we hate it or not :manny:

Bryan has been a shell of himself for a while, He honestly needs to go away. Had been craving the Okada match for years and neither lived up to the hype imo.

HBK and Sting never fell off/Never lost "it" during their return runs while I feel like Bryan has been a shell of himself since after his first year in AEW.

And maybe Mox wants to do the favors for Bryan before he does go away, He has to know that he owes him for taking a backseat to him the past two years when Bryan is the clear bigger star.

So apparently Continental title matches have a 20-minute time limit, hence that 20-minute stip.

IIRC it was said at some point that defenses are run under the same rules as the tournament itself - so no stables/managers on the outside allowed either.

Although I thought the finals in the tourney for the actual belt had a 60 min time limit, but might have remembered that wrong? :yeshrug:

Is the 20 min stip to essentially give Okada a World Title eliminator match for the first 20 mins?

If you survive 20 mins in an Eliminator, you get a title match.

Only thing I can wrap round it :patrice:
