Same here the demo on PS4 so no point in playing it just to start over when I get to PC.What's the point it's a first day cop..
It’s not a really a demo IMO. It’s the prologue and first chapter of the game with progress transferable to the retail copy. I beat the prologue already. Just starting my playthrough early.What's the point it's a first day cop..
Gotta beat Trails Of Cold Steel 3 and 4 first. Was thinking about finishing the series with Azure too
I would play Azure before the rest of Cold Steel or at least before 4. Azure is good enough to put priority on experiencing it with as little spoilers as possible and 4 really blows the doors off it. It’s one of the best games in the series. Just because Azure is an older title doesn’t mean it’s not as worth playing as the newer ones. Personally I lean towards Cold Steel 3 but Azure is top 3 in the series. My #1 is likely to always be Sky SC and my #2 in unconventional in CS3 but Azure would be my #3.
The ending of CS3 is probably the most brutal cliffhanger in the series and you’ll not want to play Azure before 4 if you experience that.
The last Cold Steel games are also pretty lengthy and Azure is half either of their lengths.
Sorry I meant Trails Into Reverie. Thats the final game in the Cold Steel series correct? I just want to see how Rean’s story ends before I start a new Legend Of Heroes chapter.
Yeah that’s the conclusion of Rena’s story. Probably worth getting that out of the way first.

So a bit of a nitpick but I hope with this chapter they do bigger revamps of the combat as newer games come. Like I know they added new mechanics in cold steel but alot of them were basically slight deviations of what was already there outside of brave orders. Also I hope each game adds new orbments cause finishing one game and then the next few games having the exact same orbments that you have to earn all over again in the next game is frustrating imo I don't mind them being there but add new ones as well.
This is comfort food for the Trails fan's soul. It's enjoyable but it's still mostly the same as the other games. It approaches the same tropes and subject matter all the other games do just from a slightly different angle. If you like Trails games this is fine but it's not going to win over many new fans. Unfortunately it looks like I'll be waiting till Kai no Kiseki to get to the main plot really advancing.

Enjoy it brehs. It's a great entry in the series. Daybreak 2 is ok, but Kai drops in September and looks to be well worth the wait.
