......too me just makes some of the sad scenes..
making me sad for no reason
The fact of the matter is we don't know the nature of what Ouroboros is trying to accomplish. If you beat CSIV and saw the whole McBurn fight at the end and what they talked about it suggest their objectives are beyond what the protagonist understand. They battle the protagonist but their objective isn't really to kill them. They're conducting high level experiments and at times actively use the protagonist in them.Ok cool still
Almost all the deaths have been antagonist though. None of the good guys really die.
