It was poor judgement to hire somebody she was dating no question. But recuse herself from the case? Helll no. Firstly most legal experts agree there is not enough to remove her. So why give the defense what they want without earning it from the Court? Secondly if she stepped down that more than likely would end the case. Without question at a minimum it pushes it years down the road. How would she recover from that? If this judge does as most expect him to, the motion will be denied and this little soap opera will be OVER. We are right back to looking for a trial date. All this who she dating crap will be inadmissible at that trial, so don't expect to hear any more about it. And nothing would get her rep back right than successfully prosecuting Donald Trump and his clan. Your suggestion of stepping down bodies the case and her career so why do that?

She should have stepped down from the jump. The stench of her bad judgment and lack of character of a law enforcement official can't be unnoticed at this point.

Thats why in the law we have this thing called voir dire. Jury selection. Thats where you weed out those who have a bias against you. And please understand, a whole lot of potential jurors don't give a FUKK about who she was dating. Many are offended that this even became a thing. Many see this as another attack on a black woman. Don't forget the main defendant has been found liable for rape, so he got his own credibility issues. When they start admitting the evidence that this dude and his crew basically tried to commit treason, nobody gonna be thinking about her dating another prosecutor a couple years ago.
ALSO, it is very unlikely she is going to actually participate in the trial. The head DA rarely does that. You're way to concerned about it. Grown people understand. They was fukkin, it wasn't a good idea to do that, make better decisions in the future, now lets get back to prosecuting an insurrectionist.

Unfortunately for Fani a new witness has entered the chat and was submitted to the judge yesterday to testify. And this one apparently is a prosecutor herself from another Georgia county who claims wade and Fani relationship started before she gave wade the contract. If the judge decides to hear the testimony might be the nail in the coffin for Fani. A sitting prosecutor would be a credible witness.

Source? Cuz 1) evidence is closed so the judge can’t consider it, and 2) the filing I read was that Bradley also gossiped with this witness over what Bradley himself said was speculation to when the relationship started.
