Like I explained in my previous post, the movement you speak of is like a pull. You take the heart (a huge magnet) and the mind sets a point of focus for it to attract itself to and off you go.

There is quite a deal of difference between saying something just to say and really meaning it. Affirmations can help you get into good states of mind for what you're looking to attract but without the proper emotion (energy in motion/vibration) behind the words, it's just noise. Hence the adage "speak from the heart". Saying "I want a girlfriend" when you have a subconscious fear of rejection will create a fail safe to keep you from having a girlfriend.

The universe does not speak English, it speaks E-Motion (energy in motion).

yeah, it's real. it doesn't work the way people think it does or should, though.

you can't simply ask or attempt to manifest a million dollars out of thin air. You gotta meet the universe halfway. And even then you might see or find some way to make that million but not work towards it. You might have an idea to invent something. You might have something happen that could be a lawsuit. One of the kids might start writing raps instead of doing their homework.

But you may be too lazy to implement that idea. You may not want to get rear ended by that truck or you may shrug off your boss' sexual advances. You might smack the kid for not doing the homework instead and stifle their rapping/singing career or whatever.

Or even worse, you may get exactly what you want, but you aren't ready to receive it.

The example I always give when it comes to that is relationships. You're fortunate enough to to be in a relationship with the type of person you want to be with, right? But they may be missing some vital part of their personality that doesn't mesh with yours. They may not share one of your favorite hobbies. They may not take shots to the face or swallow.

They may be flat out fukking selfish.

So you really want what they aren't doing or bringing to the table. You're focused on that with incredible intent.

and poof, a person appears with the stuff your S/O is lacking.

But you can't be with them. Maybe cause you're faithful. Maybe because they're too old or young for your liking. You may meet them online and they're a whole country or world away.

They may be in a relationship.

It never, ever fails. The relationship shyt above is the "Law of Attraction" at work. We've all done it. We always will.

It's why nothing good ever happens to people who swear nothing good happens to them. It's why attention whores get physically ill when people stop paying attention to them.

It's why we always catch red lights wen we're in a rush.

When it's bad, we're already meeting the universe halfway. It's far easier to focus on the things we're scared to lose or we don't want to happen than to focus on working to get the things we want.

You have free-will, as well as free-won't.
