I'm a bit torn on how they're unfolding part 2 so far
I preferred the tense build up through flashbacks of Ellie's feelings towards Joel vs her feelings being put on front street so early..
I guess they weren't bold enough to tell the story the exact way it was in the game
And to your point you had to give grace in the game too because a man would've had trouble pulling off what Ellie did let alone her 110 lb ass lol
She was telling the stalker to run at her because that's what the infected would normally do.. It was to show she came across something different

nikkas in here tryna gaslight like its breaking immersion cuz we don't think she attractive. My boy who played the game and hasn't watched the show yet and I told him who Ellie is and he said its a terrible casting with no provocation.

She's a hell of an actress...its just I think she was miscast for this role but we'll see how the rest of this season goes.
