Dina called his name and I don't even think she really noticed Abby at the time. When she called his name, Abby's eyes widened and she knew what the deal was because she already had a detailed description of how he looks. Dina has no reason to conceal the name of Joel. She's not a goon or a fighter. Just a lil young chick getting by.

Part 3 of the game will most likely release before the next season, I bet they announce part 3 when this season finishes (on some "SURPRISE" type shyt) and it's probably a year and a half away. It took 2 years for season 2 (I think, not sure though). If it's on the same cycle, part 3 will definitely hit before season 3.

I wonder would it hurt the vibe if the show if the game is released so closely. I know id still watch it, but due to us seeing that they are following the game at like an 87% rate, some people wouldn't want to see the same thing twice in a close period of time..

I loved episode 2, but the only thing that sucked is that it was ripped DIRECTLY from the game, so unlike other people I know, there was nothing shocking that occurred for me. I mean it was damn near identical to the game to be honest with one minor difference.

So............. They can't do a season 3 until part 3 has been dropped for a year or 2 right?

Or will they flip the script and drop a 3rd season first and gave the game follow that?

They have explicitly said the show will never go past the games, and Neil Drukkman (director/creator of the games/show) has been very coy over the last couple of years on if there will even be a third game or not, as he believes the 2nd game ended definitively enough for him that there doesn’t need to be a third…but, he also said that about the first game

I genuinely think there will be a third game, but yeah, I don’t quite know how they do that unless they convince HBO to put the fourth season (since seasons 2 and 3 of the show are the 2nd game) of the show on ice for a few years while they release the 3rd game
