Didn't see the point in Ellie being bit again

Probably to show that the stalkers are not joke, and to show us how far she is willing to go to hide her shyt, with the making the wound bigger and stuff.

It's to show that she can get overpowered. And to show that she's hard headed and THINKS she's more bad ass than she is.

Any female gets overpowered by a large man. That's just common sense. The scene of her getting bit by that crawler more showed that she isn't prepared as she thinks she is. Which was telegraphed by how cocky her and Dina are.

Episode was cool. Nothing crazy. Ellie in that one encounter with the stalker though was funny. The budget must be tied to Easy mode because her ass would’ve got jumped off of jump street if it was on Grounded. Struggling that hard with one stalker on Easy mode is kind of crazy. I like how they said they must be evolving though. I could be wrong but I don’t think there were any stalkers in season one.

Ngl something seemed off about the Ellie, Dina kiss scene. It seemed a little rushed maybe, and to much like a reenactment. I like that Dina is getting more screen time, and fleshed out on the show so far. All in all I like some of the changes they did (so far), but also execution could’ve been a little bit better in some scenes. I’m interested in seeing the season in full. Specifically to see HOW they’re going to approach certain things in the story (what changes, and what they’re keeping the same). TLOU2 is like my favorite game of all time.

He was trying pretty hard regardless. In the game Ellie was a bad ass. Not because they wanted her to think she was. So I don't buy that excuse.

I think the TV show switched "bad ass" for "survivor" because the characters aren't fighting with infected all the time. Plus the infected are treated -rightfully so- as a way bigger threat (you don't get the replay a scene because a character died) so they basically just show you which people are better prepared to survive a confrontation. And hell, Ellie fukks up all the time in the game as well, she just has the cheat code of being inmune.

If you wanted 1 to 1 Ellie adaptation I get it breh, but I honestly don't. Same with Abby

It’s unfortunate that the casting got everybody right but Ellie & Abby

No disrespect to Kaitlyn Dever but she was better for current Ellie and they should have gotten an accurate actress for Abby.

The whole point of that scene was showing that Ellie might think she's John Wick but the big fella let her win. They made it a point to tell the audience she would've been knocked the fukk out more than once if Jesse doesn't tell dude to go easy on Ellie.

The fact you gotta explain this even after the show very clearly explained this They even double down on this point by showing Ellie stupidly chasing after the stalker, and getting bit but she's immune...anyone else is dead/infected. Are yall watching these shows or just skim thru it

They’re already slightly going out of order, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s much more linear

Uh i think you might be the one skimming through the show bro.. The beginning training scene was to show she is a little bad ass whether he went easy on her or not. She's still young and too cocky as the later scene showed.
