When it comes to video games, player enjoyment must always outweigh a creative vision. Kojima found that out the hard way.Cool. You don't like it.
But how do we actually know how bad it is or isn't until it's out?
I'm not talking about you specifically, but it's funny seeing people complain about bad storytelling and whatnot, when nearly every creator alive will tell you that ultimately, while the result of the story is important, how you tell it is just as, if not more, important.
The story could be great, that doesn't change the fact that players will be forced to play as someone they dont like and it will effect enjoyment of the game. Metal gear solid 2 could have had the best storyline of any metal gear games and it would still be negatively impacted by the fact that you weren't playing as Snake.
Theres a way to introduce new characters and ideas, this wasnt a good way to introduce Abby to the player and get them excited to play her storyline or understand her position.
