Rockstar has more than 2 franchises, and can make a better linear game than ND
if sony gave R* an insanely generous budget to drop Manhunt 3 (Linear like the previous installments) it'll Trump TLOU2
You already see the amount of detail they put in open world games that players end up not even seeing
Them making a linear game in 2020 would literally be unfair
Uncharted is a Tomb Raider reskin with a male and TLOU is a typical "Adult with kid being badass" trope
You can never question how much time they take with their games once you play em tho. Their games are always loaded. If R* worked at ND’s efficiency their games would take over a decade
I respect their games but they could make the same quality of games in a shorter amount of time if they functioned like a normal dev.

manhunt metacritic is trash - in the 70s
max payne series is in the 80s meta. Good but not on TLOU and Uncharted level.
