I preordered the digital deluxe edition for TLOU2. Put in some vacation time again. I'm so fukking stupid.

Shoulda learned by now because there was no reason for them delaying it last year and February.

ND is a very socially conscious company and they wouldn't want to ruin optics of this game by releasing it now. It will get buried in the news cycle and it likely involves some sort of story about a virus which will piss people off guaranteed

It can easily be paired up with PS5 in the fall when things *hopefully* start to resume as normal

Game just wasn’t ready. Coronavirus is a lame excuse. Miss me with that insensitivity talk and Naughty Dog being noble. Resident Evil is coming out Friday and is about a virus destroying humanity. Final Fantasy is coming out next week and is about the destruction of the planet. Sony stans lawste again.

It’s pushed back cause they want the biggest launch they can get. They spent a lot of money making the game and a large part of their day one profits is physical sales. People can’t walk in the store and buy game right now so they are waiting.

I mean I guess it’s the right thing for their bottom line, but for the fans they have been waiting and are now sitting home without shyt to do this sucks. Seems they would want to get it out for those people, but as usual money trumps all in this country

Man I really don’t get it they have a history of bunk release dates, they specifically said they weren’t gonna make that mistake this time around, came out with an extremely close release date, and that couldn’t even make it a month. They need some fukkin upper management

That's lost money. Going all digital is assuming that everyone has a great internet connection. There's also the people who like their physical special edition copies. Or those like me who just like having physical copies. I'm in the camp who has a pretty good internet connection, and has said fukk it, I'll just get the digital. In the end it's coming down to the money. Plus, if they release it digitally first, you know everyone is going to stream it and spoil the hell out of it. That will make it so that a lot of people may end up saying fukk it because they know how the story plays out.
