We're about to get what might be game of the generation and ppl are crying because all of the resources are being put towards what really matters - the story. Of course, me thinking that automatically means I'm trash at MP
This isn't CoD we're talking about. What resonated most with people was the great story/characters, regardless of how surprisingly good the MP was.

Just because they were able to pull it off in the first one, that doesn't mean magically 6 years later, they can accomplish the same thing. It's not fair to even try to make that comparison. Continue playing MP in the first one if it's really killing you inside that much lol.

From what it reads like, they probably wanted to have the mechanics and depth of the single player into the MP and it would've taken too much time and resources so they just decided to focus on SP first. If they drop a MP title separately within a year or less that's ambitious and really able to stand on it's own then that'll be something.

Cause that’s basically the two options. It’s clear the single player will be done before the MP team. Idk about you guys but I want to play the campaign as soon as possible.

I love TLOU MP but I’ll wait for it if it means I can still play single player on time. Why delay both.
