Finally doing my second run through and this game is a certified classic for sure. Dina is a true rider and Ellie is a savage. Def deserves game of the year.
Druckman could’ve played it safe and gave us a marvel type story and with this gameplay would’ve been guaranteed a hit but instead he took a big swing and I respect that.

I had a dream TLOU Part 3 came out and that shyt was some open world game with Joel and Ellie driving around a city at night jumping off ramps and shyt. shyt was weird as fukk.
they can bring Ellie back in Last of us 4
GOT is a great game breh, you can blame Neil for it losing that award tho, they bombed those votes soon as Drukmann tweeted that shade filled tweet about haters yesterday, TLOU2 had a good lead yesterday, now Ghost is all of a sudden way ahead lol
yeah but to me its not a legitimate win. folks are just voting to shyt on tlou 2/neil.
the game is mediocre but beautiful. i dont understand the praise for the bland open world and average at best combat. not to mention horrible writing and voice acting. PS3 era stealth sections and enemies that stand and watch you. its all just mediocre. its nowhere even close to what TLOU 2 is offering in any department. theres levels man.
TLOU2 is my GOTY too, but we’re gonna have to agree to disagree on the combat, story & stealth on GOT, shyt was fun as hell and I enjoyed the story, only thing I agree with is the open world while great to look at is your typical empty open world, it got a pass because the setting is beautiful unlike most Ubisoft esque games that just look bland with nothing to do..
honestly I think either one winning is well deserved like Sekiro beating RE2

I even agree with last yrs comparison in that I see them both as great games but one was more profound for me and became one of my favorites ever, while the other is a great memory
