Been taking my time with it and

Just beat the giant clicker/stalker hybrid in the hospital and am about to chase Lev on the boat. Is Lev being a transgender what had all the incels up in the arms with the leaks?

I’ve had a blast playing it on survival but the encounters get hard as fukk. I can’t imagine how stressful it is on grounded or permadeath difficulty. How much longer do I have left in the game? I’m clocked in at 32 hours and the game seems waaaay longer than the first one.

Iv seen a lot of people say that about the part after the farm and say it wasn’t needed, I personally liked it, especially that last house assault, but I always think if that part wasn’t there surely people would complain more that it feels unfinished or would be left on a cliffhanger
That could have easily have been fix with a conversation between Ellie and Tommy.

instead of uncharacteristically telling ellie to go back out there and risk her life for revenge, Tommy talks to her about everything she has to live for and that revenge leads nowhere.

You get the same results without the needless fight at the end.

eh, This makes less sense, It would be uncharacteristic for Tommy to be like that given everything he’s gone through and lost, plus there’s no reason for him to go and Tell Ellie that when Ellie is already living a quiet life

What's the hardest aspect

I would say enemy detection. Sneaking by dudes or getting stealth kills is never guaranteed.

yep, No indicator of when someone is suspicious until it’s too late, they’re a lot more aware and once spotted they are aggressive as fukk, they flank the shyt out of you, added with 2 shots killing you while barely ever missing

I feel like the way it was written was uncharacteristic of Tommy. In the first game he's the opposite of Joel in that he still believes in humanity and the greater good. In part 2 he's completely against Ellie throwing her life away for revenge, he goes so she doesn't feel like she has to, and he was the first to decide to head back and forget abby.

It was really uncharacteristic of him to drop that weight on Ellie's shoulders after everything, Tommy seems like the type to be happy to still be alive and wouldn't want ellie to seek revenge in his honor. They could have easily wrote the ending as Tommy coming to talk ellie out of going after abby again. It would be characteristic of ellie to not let it go, and it would be characteristic of Tommy to try and stop her.

That would have been a satisfying ending to the "cycle of revenge" plot without the last section which most pretty much agree was unnecessary.

You’re correct up until you factor in the last few hours of the game, That Tommy is completely different than the one from the start.

Tommy Lost his big brother, and was heavily crippled because of that one person, he then lost his wife probably due to anger and depression, he doesn’t have shyt left in his life, all he wants is the person responsible dead and he can’t do it, not to mention Ellie told him she’d do it for him when they got back from Seattle

it’s the same as the criticism that “Ellie isn’t the same chirpy and happy Ellie we loved in the first game”...no shyt lol

It's only like that because of the way the ending was written.

I didnt say tommy had to be happy about how everything went down, but him rolling up on ellie at the end and making her travel halfway across the country alone to seek revenge, is uncharacteristic of tommy regardless of what he went through.

He would not have wanted ellie to possibly die in his and Joel's name.
