Gone through several games in the past couple week tryna figure out what to play. went back to games I ain't finished (Spiderman, assassin's creed), started shyt I ain't played ( god of war, kakarot, need for speed heat) replayed old games (uncharted, rdr2).


none of them restore the feeling.

Yup, Neil said they weren't doing a sequel or a DLC to TLOU after it's release when in reality they were already working on Left Behind. I wouldn't be surprised if Factions ends up being a multiplayer stand alone along with DLC story content added

The leak had some Factions gameplay. If there were any DLC it must be very early in development. Otherwise (i think) they would have leaked it's existence. The leaker wanted to screw ND over as much as they could.

Playing through UC4, and Detroit with my niece has been fun, and funny....I miss playing TLOU2 where nothing but bad things happens

Why couldn't i be a Nintendo fan

That way i could've filled TLOU2 void with Animal Crossing

I’m not sure I believe them when they say they’re not doing any DLC for this, especially when they have more than enough to work with that would also make the complainers happy, whether it’s Tommy’s 3 days, or Joel Past/Present the same way they did Ellie’s past/present in Left Behind

I actually believe there won't be any dlc especially when he's hinted at them working on multiplayer in a couple interviews

Just curious but how? It’s understandable why she felt the way she did considering how she treated Joel for years, after the firefly revelation. He was literally haunting her( of course it was just guilt). She said it herself to Tommy after Joel was buried that if it was him he would already be after those guys trying to get revenge for either of them.

I agree, but I don't think she would have ever gotten the acceptance she got without that catharsis at the end, finally having Abby's life in her hands. From reading her journal, she was never gonna follow Dina's advice on grieving, so she was always gonna deal with that PTSD. It was basically 1. PTSD with a family, or 2. no PTSD, with a risk of losing her family

All in all, it's just a fascinating character study to me, because it seemed like everything after the blizzard felt inevitable, yet so easily avoidable at the same time

I honestly wanna play through this a third time, if I didn’t have and enjoy GOT so much atm I probably would

And don’t hate me y’all, but given the choice, I’d probably take a Joel/Tommy focused DLC over MP

(that’s not to say I don’t think a MP with this engine wouldn’t be fun as fukk tho)

I’m ready to put both of those characters to rest tbh I don’t see either one of them moving the story along in a meaningful way. Left Behind gave you Ellie’s origin essentially, and gave you a direct peak into her survivors guilt, so she could fully become a/the main character.

If anything, following your thought, I’d want them to double down on perspective, and chronicle their days as gully ass hunters, juxtaposed with their softer days in Jackson take that last bit of gleam folks holding on to.

I'd definitely be for it, but I doubt ND would be, nikkas would legit having to play Joel taking advantage of helpless ppl

Imagine having to be Joel doing this, but actually succesfully



I'm here for it, but I don't see how they could make it relevant moving forward with, or expanding the story, especially since Ellie wouldn't have witnessed any of it to leave a lasting mark on her. I have faith they won't put out anything just to put it out tho

After being far enough removed from it I think, I would hate to end 2 where it was. I was completely fine with how they ended 1 if that's where it ended, but there's a couple huge open threads now, including the biggest one now with

The Fireflies. Not to mention they've basically set up Girl Joel and "Boy" Ellie, perfectly. I would be OK with leaving Dina and Ellie's relationship up for interpretation, but they can't continue Ellie's story without addressing it

I assume money will bring a 3 at this point, or Druckmann has already accounted for another chapter in the story. No way he is completely fine leaving this one untouched

I don't see a part 3 being made unless greed takes over which is highly possible..

There's nothing else to really say about Abby and Lev.. Abby had her redemption story by saving Lev and his sister..

Ellie could go on some redemption kick to go find the Firefly's and give up herself for the cure but they already said there's no one else to that could come up with a cure so that's a no go too..

I just don't think there's any story left to tell unless you do a time jump.. And I don't think they'll do that either..

I just don't see a way to legitimately revisit that world without ruining the integrity of the storytelling they've already established
