Don't fukk around. Save your shotgun ammo for them creeps. :demonic: Or chuck molotovs in corners you think they're hiding in.

fukkers gave me anxiety with their peekaboo tactics.
That didn’t work for me at all when I first encountered them I saw one peek form behind a desk I threw a Molotov at it and that bytch ran the fukk off and disappeared It had me shook :damn:

Beat the game. Thoughts:

I loved the ending. If you hate it and just wanted the standard revenge story, you're probably an idiot.

fukk. fukking. Clickers.

I HATED the Abby/Ellie stealth fight.

God damn the Pillars were dark as fukk.

EXCELLENT swerve not ending on the farm. I was legit shocked to find out Santa Barbara was it's own damn chapter :russ:

Overall a top 5, possibly top 3 game this gen.
That boss fight would of worked ALOT better just as a cutscene, it’s one of 4 small parts of the game I didn’t like

1. Abby Day 1 - The Warehouse/Boatyard section with Mel, the jeep ambush and the gas station shootout were both cool, but everything inbetween was kinda dull

2. Abby Day 2 - The Hospital Basement, this worked well as a horror section, but it felt unnecessary straight after just coming out of that other dark horror hotel section, pacing woulda been better if they just had Nora give you the drugs and get you out the back way back to Lev

3. Abby Day 3 - Looking For Lev in The Aquarium

4. Abby Day 3 - Abby/Ellie Boss fight, weird and unnecessary, coulda had you run down the aisle and behind the curtain after Ellie the same way, but have it turn into the usual tap square cutscene where Abby gets the upper hand with Dina running in the same way

Regardless of the criticism, I have to applaud the writers concerning the moral of the story and the ending...

By the end of the theatre scrap, I was ready for both of them to move on. I found it fascinating how I began the game in the same mindframe as Ellie at the start (wanting blood & vengeance) but ended in the same mindframe as Abby at the climax (just over it all.) They pulled a role reversal entirely, and I felt complete opposite emotions about the pair at the end as I did at the beginning. Ellie became the monster she thought she was hunting after losing Joel ("If I were to lose you, I'd surely lose myself.") She realizes this and lets him go. The writing wasn't perfect, but I thought it was beautiful. Great game.

my biggest issue with the story is sequencing...I feel that this story could've been told in a better non-linear way

I had to get through this area full of WLR, and I found a store with a group of clickers trapped. So I opened the door, threw a bottle to get their attention, then the clickers chased after the WLR, and I slid through while they shot at them. :lolbron:

I'm at Santa Barbera and I'm ready to just look up the ending on YouTube.

I don't care to play what's at least 2 more hours after the climax. Can't stand when games do this shyt.
