but you havent played it, and reviewers arent allowed to really talk about the story
i only assume u didn’t hear about the leaks that came out a month ago ?
Y’all seeing all of these upset fans/haters on twitter trying to run this game into the ground on Twitter? A few reviews have said the Game isn’t fun in the traditional sense in terms of the story because of how dark and violent it can get...people are taking these quotes and running a mile with them as if the game isn’t fun to play despite every single review saying the actual gameplay & mechanics itself are phenomenal, people are so fukking dumb man

You think it looks dope, half of the spoilers are confirmed to be untrue, the other half make a lot more sense within the context of the story according to 99% of everybody who’s played it, but you won’t even entertain it because you don’t like the 2% that you have seen completely out of context? You know, the ones who beat it and played it all the way through. He in this review said he saw the leaks before playing, didn't want to play and played it anyway and that it's much different.

White Jesus could’ve wrote a better script
This story could have been epic..
And they could have truly did better by fans..
And when I say that..
They didn’t have to placate to my ego..
But if you are going to do a revenge story.
Make the shyt make sense..
Like someone said on another forum..
They could have wrote this as a tragedy..
You can still make a revenge game with levity..
With a poignant message..
Sure you can debate..
Context and not seeing the whole picture..
But Druckman clearly made this to be divisive and explosive..
Like he stated..
Almost feels intentional..
On some martyr shyt..
Everybody tells people not to be upset..
Or laugh at fans that truly fukked with the story..
Read the comic series they produced..
But I propose a question..
What if one of your favorite ips(everyone has one)
Did this..
Imagine God of War 2018 reboot..
Went down some bullshyt path..
Seeing Kratos journey on some bullshyt..
ND wants to champion diversity..
But kills all the black characters in previous games..
Except for one(voiced by a fukking white woman
)To push narratives forward..
Watch Dogs 2 was an amazing game..
That delved into inclusion/diversity..
Had some plot holes..
But the script did it so much better..
Then this bullshyt..
Still playing it..
But this is just a shytty feeling..
To see this ip go up in smoke..

I just watch the video and he never said that the leaks were false - So I’m still kind of confused why this notion that 99% of the leaks are not true
now what he said. was he was really glad that he had the opportunity to review this game because once he heard the leaks months ago like the most of us he automatically didn’t wanna play the game and he is basically trying to convince people who have that feeling to reconsider which I have no problem with
... he clearly was a huge fan of the original Which is probably one of the reasons he doesn’t have a problem with the redirection of the game
personally I wasn’t a huge fan of the original - My favorite part of the game was certain characters in the storyline and as this is a no spoiler thread I don’t need to go on further to say why I’m not interested in this one
