I think it will be pretty close but we gotta remember, the games cutscene total about 1.5 hours long. The show is 10 hours so they are gonna have to put a lot more content in it

The stuff they did to expand the game is very good

Enemies being smarter - more gore depending on how people die - enemies begging for mercy - partners behaving smarter - some of the zombies will still try to bite you if you shoot or blow off their legs - which makes no sense but is cool - joel working on his guns

i think the dodge mechanic from last of us 2 would not have broken the game like being able to prone would

i rented it from game fly and enjoyed it

took me some time to get use to the new joel and ellie ( ellie face looks weird in the game) but it works well in the cut scenes
