It would have to be like that, imagine throwing a brick through the window of a building that an enemy squad is looting to draw infected towards them.
:wow:

Yeah, thats exactly what gets me excited about a PVPVE type of game, being able to alert a bloater or clickers to enemy factions

Or say you and 2 or 3 other people are in an abandoned office or something and it has more loot than anywhere else but you know its infested with stalkers. So do you risk going in there for big loot, or do you stick to the outside perimeter with just runners?

This is also assuming guns and ammo won’t just be littered everywhere or falling from the sky like warzone

They better not do this, limited resources is the defining factor of a survival game. Having to work with limited ammo should be apart of the game.

Yeah, if they want it to be successful they have to go in on the survival aspect. It’s one thing to play the single player and you just want to see the story so you turn the difficulty down and run through it, but for a team of people trying to accomplish one goal a bloater has to feel like a very real threat. Other players have to feel like threats, and even a group of runners need to feel like you can’t be wreckless and alert them running around.

If you have a team of 3, you need to make sure everyone is properly using stealth and prone, and avoiding uncesseary fights where you can waste bullets, shanks, first aid, etc.

Theres also a thing with Last of us where they put glass and other objects you can run into and make noise around. I want all that stuff in the multiplayer. They need to emphasize this is a environment where you need to be aware of everything around you. Really up the intensity of going out into the world.

Its only like 2-3 hours long but its definitely worth playing. It has some fun combat encounters in it, before TLOU2 it was one of the first times you really got to fight infected and humans at the same time

This is interesting, this is clearly Lev and Abbey but after the ending of part 2, as you can tell by their hair and the fact that Abby isn’t jacked. Its interesting because this is San Franciso

I don’t know.

What i do know is they never talk about making gameplay great. It’s always about a story.

Was hoping this was gonna be a “survival” game. But from those comments it seems like it’s gonna be more TLOU but with co-op.
Lmaaaooo, imagine saying this about one of the most polished combat systems of last gen

These the same nikkas whose best game of the last decade is Grounded :mjlol:

You're right, that's why everyone says the gameplay in TLOU series is trash. :ohhh:
The gameplay in those game is very polished but very shallow and by the numbers. It feels good, but it exists as a vehicle for the story. When fans talk about the game you never here them talking about gameplay strategies or the cool weapons they found or bosses they had fun fighting. It’s always about the story, the graphics and the characters.

Beyond that my comment was about ND dev priorities judging by how they speak about their games. They’ve talked about factions multiple times now and everytime it’s about a story. They have this big multiplayer project coming out and the most important thing they want people to know early on is that they are trying to tell another story. No talk of gameplay innovations or inspirations. Just more ways and opportunities to tell stories.
