Started a rewatch after I watched Vikings Valhalla and man, the amount of bullshyt Uthred goes through in season 1 alone. Talk about growth though, he was way more impulsive and dumb at the start. He really earned being as clever and sharp as he is in the later seasons. Still impulsive but you can tell he had some hard lessons.

Yeah that's what I love about Uhtred. Dude was messing up so much at the start and I identified with that cause as a younger man, I was always messing up, not listening to ppl who gave me advice and I had to learn lessons the hard way.

But as time went on, Uhtred learned. He earned every last bit of savvy that he had after that 1st season.





I rewatch the whole Marco Polo series every couple years. I still don't quite understand why it ended. It was a GOAT show on the level of The Last Kingdom, Spartacus and other medieval shows.

It wasn't JUST as good as those shows, but it was almost there. The last episode where the Pope's boys touched down

Nah, Netflix says it's supposed to be a standalone epilogue to the series and that it will be accessible to newcomers.

They got a like a documentary reenactment show on Netflix called Age of Samurai. It was dope and informative. Idk if you watched it already

The character arc of Breda and Alfred wife are
Matter fact everybody character arc is

But the flips theirs do is crazy. Go from hating the queen cause she was such an uptight bytch to actually being fairly likeable and open and has a bit of personality to her. She also looked younger after Alfred died
And Breda poor poor Breda. Woman lost everything multiple times. Can't even blame her for turning the way she did cause. Between death and betrayal like how could she manage to love anything or anybody. Her life was a depressing ass Rollercoaster
And my G Uthred what can't I say about him. I cant think of a time where I didn't feel sorry for Uthred. He was constantly torn between something or having to witness someone he loved die. Man was skressed
