Breh, I'm currently watching Starz's "The White Queen"/"The White Princess"/"The Spanish Princess" miniseries trilogy. As soon as I'm done with them, I'm probably getting into "The Last Kingdom" next.
Anyways, I looking at this article earlier this week:
Can anyone vouch for "The Shannara Chronicles"?

No, this show takes place about 100 years apart from Vikings. The author of TLK used the Ragnar name as inspiration most likely, Ivan The Boneless shows up in the novels but he isn't TLK Ragnar's son. Also King Ecbert's grandson is King Alfred
You sure? I'm 3 episodes into & this show literally has 2-3 characters that are also on "Vikings". Also this storyline about Uhtred helping King Alfred & the Saxons to defeat the Danes is basically the same storyline from this past season 5B of "Vikings" about Ubbe helping the English to defeat the Danes.

Yeah I'm aware that Ragnar Lothbrok isn't on TLK too. I'm just questioning how TLK & "Vikings" can take at least 100 years apart from each other, when both shows share multiple real-life characters & even similar storylines.Ragnar Lothbrok doesn't make an appearance in TLK. The Ragnars you're seeing right now are Earl Ragnar and Ragnar the Younger who have no relation to Ragnar Lothbrok aside from being associated with one of his sons Ubba (Ubbe in Vikings).

Alright, I'm watching episode 4 right now & I just realized Ubba on TLK has to be same character as Ubbe on "Vikings" right? I'm assuming that's the case because King Alfred just mentioned a Dane named Ivar is the brother of Ubba.Yeah I'm aware that Ragnar Lothbrok isn't on TLK too.
