Breh, I'm currently watching Starz's "The White Queen"/"The White Princess"/"The Spanish Princess" miniseries trilogy. As soon as I'm done with them, I'm probably getting into "The Last Kingdom" next.

It's watchable trash if you know what I mean. CW teen fantasy tier shyt. But don't waste your time with it now because it got canceled on a cliffhanger. I mainly watched it for Ivana Baquero and because homie Crixus was on there.

Is the scale of TLK on par with "Vikings"?
If you like the King's Landing drama in season 1 of "Game of Thrones", I think you'll like "The White Queen".
Hard for me to say since I haven't seen much of Vikings but TLK is smaller especially in the first two seasons. The books that TLK is based on had bigger battles and even fleet warfare that had to be scaled down or left out of the show. For season 3 cinematography got an upgrade, episode count went up, gorier (although the violence was already up there), shyt is just bigger and better.
But my guy, scale shouldn't matter to you if you liked Spartacus: Blood and Sand. That was mostly ludus and arena fukkery for half the show's run
And I think me and another breh here put you on Black Sails. You gon' have to trust me when I say you'll like TLK as well.
