I dapped cause I like Horry.
My comment still stands. Where has the best player been asked to inbound the ball being a non-factor while a play is drawn up for someone else? Wording aside sentiment the same. It's about the best player being in the game but out of the play as an inbounder?
The unmitigated gall!!!
How he acted.
Dude burned down a bridge fast as hell in Houston, he had periods where he was acting ridiculous followed by being completely unapologetic about it, and he just did a lot of weird or otherwise inexcusable shyt for a guy expected to be the glue for teams.

no it wasn’t,Kukoc won a game off that same play earlier that season vs the pacers with pippen inbounding the ball.
david blatt drew up a play to do just that in game 4 of the cavs/bulls series in 2015 when the score was tied with 1.5 seconds left. lebron told him i want the ball and the play was changed, lebron hit the game winner.I dapped cause I like Horry.

Pip was the elder statesman on that team and had a bunch of championship experience(I know Detlef Schrempf was on that team, but he didn't have the level of gravitas Pippen had).
That Blazers team had enough to beat the Lakers, they needed someone to calm the kids down when they were up 15 and had the Lakers on the ropes in Game 7 and Pippen couldn't do it.
What's interesting is I was old enough to watch that game live and it was made a big deal that MJ visited Ron Harper before that game 7 and not Pippen... I don't think MJ wanted him to win and get one more ring than him

i can understand scottie's feelings in that situation but at the same time he let it get to that point where everything boiled over for him at that instant. its something he should have addressed with phil earlier that season to let him know he wants the ball with the game on the line or even right then and there when the play was drawn up for kukoc.Exactly my point. Lebron stated his dissatisfaction with the play and it changed. Pippen stated his Phil like fu I'm going here. I don't fwu like that!
if pippen hadnt let his feelings known previously how was he to know that scottie would be bothered at all or ultimately as bothered as he was by not getting the ball.
