And that is what I'm trying to explain to you. All of these Galaxies have trilions of rocks colliding every second ... every millisecond as a matter of fact, all creating their own Big Bangs. Yet none of them, for eons, have been able to produce life other than us?? As I say, I hope to be wrong but the proof so far is that we are the only life and the only ones that think about other life.
:what: There is no proof we can barley leave earths orbit at present and even the voyager spacecraft have barely left the solar system what are you talking about.

What do you mean? It's just that what you're thinking is just a fallacy. It doesn't follow actual logic. Unless that wasn't a conclusion and a personal thought. It doesn't make any sense.

Wow. Are there any planets near this big sun? If so, there's no way they can exist too close to this sun?

Yes they can. They have recently discovered that large stars have planets orbiting them an insane speeds. Some with orbital years of 20 weeks to 4 days

However none of these planets are gas giants for obvious reasons.

We're talking about defying the laws that govern the universe itself. We're stuck on this rock breh its over.

I've always had the theory that we could just be some kind of experiment or something, like someone's ant farm that is being observed and shyt.
Imagine? then the question is are we smart enough to realize that we are being watched? and if we can break free of those constraints. I doubt we will ever know our origins but I hate thinking about shyt like this cuz it makes everything so irrelevant, small and petty.

I mean, I assume there's no life form out there unless proven otherwise. Doesn't mean there isn't any (however slim that might be)

The point is, you don't know that. Space travel is quite an undertaking, so if lifeforms are lightyears away they aren't anymore likely to reach us then we are to reach them.

So it's just your personal thought. It's not actually based on anything. That's fine.

I mean there's literally nothing so far to prove (or disprove) the existence of aliens and other beings. Hard to make a conclusive case yet :manny:

milky way is here:
HST-Sag-Final2.jpg

and that's all we can measure so far

why do people think we're alone?

I definitely believe that we are not alone.

We may even have life on some of the planets/moons within our own solar system.

Hell we're still discovering species underwater and on remote islands.

It would be so cool to be alive to see all of this.

The Sun is a tiny star, and The Milky Way is a tiny Galaxy. The largest galaxy in the observable universe is IC1101. I've been trying to find somewhere with skies dark enough to see the galactic center, but dark skies are hard to find in Maryland.

Surely an advanced life form has been thinking this for eons if it/they existed before us. Wouldn't that've been solved by now??
