if you asked me 3 weeks ago or before, i would've said hell no at taking bijan #10. now i'm like :lupe: . the draft is far from top heavy so fukk it why not :ehh:.
Put it like this - this current team taking Bijan somewhere in the top 16 makes more sense than the 2017 draft where Howie was gonna take CMC at 14. We know he's not afraid to pull the trigger if the talent is elite, and that AD/Saquon level prospect fits the window we're in.

I still don't think he's gonna do it but it's definitely on the table.

If they stay at 10, acceptable picks to me are

OL - Skoronski or Johnson

DL - any of Anderson/Carter/Wilson if they fall, Nolan Smith, or MAYBE Kancey (probably a bit of a reach though)

CB - Gonzalez, Witherspoon, Porter or Ringo (Ringo is probably a reach, and I'd be happy with him or banks at 30

I guess Bijan too. I wouldn't like it but I'd get on board quickly and be excited to watch him in this offense

2nd round and on guys I'd love - Gervon Dexter DT Florida, Andre Carter Edge Army, Israel Abanikanda RB Pitt, Julius Brents CB Kansas State . There's more too, but the fact that I like them means there is zero chance we draft them

Is there anybody that would be a less exciting pick than Van Ness from Iowa?

Slow white DE who didn't start in college and might have to be a situational pass rushing DT? Yeah, gimme that with the tenth pick 🙄
Bryan Bresee

LVN at 10 would be a reach just based on how raw he is but Bresee is the same type of project with worse production and more medical red flags.

Im happy with either of those 1st round guys. Skoronski is lowkey the most effective pick considering he will be the heir to Kelce/johnson. Our o-line would be ridiculous

long thread on the contract structure, basically what those Schefter numbers hinted at. Creating a four year window where the cap hits range from dirt cheap to below average, and then in 2027 they either negotiate a new extension to create another window or they rip the bandaid off and eat a ton of dead money while starting over (like 2021). Win/Win for both sides :ehh:

hurts gotta stay healthy this yr
surprised he couldnt do better deal wise
