Jersey houses are cheaper but taxes more expensive than PA taxes. Eagles players usually stay in Jersey comapared to PA surburbs is due to the closeness of the facilities and staduims. So you got some Phillies Some Eagles Some 76ers living and buying in Jersey.
Whereas some do live in Villanova Gladwyne Haverford Newtown Sqaure Glen Mills Berwyn Malvern Bryn Mawr Radnor Merion Station (Barkely summer home) and Blue Bell to name a few. Look them up on Realtor.com or Trulia Multi Million dollar homes in PA.
People shyt on Philly online I don't know why but it's a reason why 4 or 5 of its suburbs are ranked annually in best place to live in America.

Recent South Jersey transplant here. Would've loved to stay in philly but the cribs were too run down in my budget. At least in jersey for the taxes I'm getting better roads, cleanliness, schools, community programming, etc. Also couldn't pay me to live in Pennsyltucky outside of Philly tbh

It was a good spot off the interstate on the way to the airport. But I don't travel no more for work so who knows when I'll be up there again.
I got family and in south Jersey wife does too. Our next house might be Jersey but my wife likes Delco (concordville Glen Mills area) and Delaware. Once you older you don't buy in Philly unless you do real estate but Philly got the best suburbs of any big city in America breh. You can't go wrong in the surrounding countries such as Montco and Delaware County. The issue is once you pass those counties then you hit Alabama.
Another thing the crime is bad in Philly but it's being going through getrification that it will be cleaned up in the next 4 years or so. I go to my old neighborhood where you were able to buy a house 90k now it's no house under 600k. They moving the poor out.
