Slay was washed and was getting up there he knew it and that is why he wanted 3 years guaranteed
It’s sucks but the league is based on offense now. You gotta be able to score. The league wants offense. No QBs in the conference scare me. It may be harder but I honestly could see us right back in the bowl next year simply based off the fact nobody else QB fukkin with ours.
I’m at the point where we need to know the best defense is a good offense. Even in the Super Bowl we saw how TOP basically eliminated Mahomes especially in the first half.

What happened with my guy Slay? Kind of baffled by his decision to seek a trade and more extension money. Then again there's always someone willing to overpay for guys...but Philly was such a good fit.
Could see his age creeping up on him as the season went on. The eagles also give vets a ton of rest during the week and each weak you could see the decline
Last year of his deal and he's 32 years old. If he played it out he ran the risk of falling off a cliff and missing an opportunity to cash in the productive years he had as an Eagle.
Makes sense for him to try and get a chunk of guaranteed money right now while his stock is still relatively high. Howie did him a solid setting him free to go get that instead of holding him hostage.

I still think we go CB. We need someone solid opposite Bradberry.
